The FWS-2280 is powered by the latest Intel® Celeron® J6000 /Pentium® N6000 series/Atom™ x6000E series processor designed to deliver the performance needed to power network applications from UTM and firewall to VPN and SD-WAN. Offering up to 32 GB RAM support, the system can manage intensive network processes and provide more accurate and secure connections thanks to technologies such as Intel® AES-NI.

Designed for faster, more flexible connections, the FWS-2280 comes standard with four copper Gigabit RJ-45 LAN Ports and one fiber SFP Port enabling fast, direct connections. The FWS-2280 provides wireless flexibility with six antenna ports and three Mini-PCIe slots (co-location with M.2), allowing up to three wireless modules to be installed simultaneously; It includes multiple Wi-Fi and Bluetooth networks, as well as 4G and 5G cellular modules.

The FWS-2280 also features a redundant power supply for more reliable networking; and a 2.5" SATA Drive Bay to help meet local network storage needs. The FWS-2280 is the perfect platform to power a variety of network deployments including Work from Home with VPN and Firewall technology and provide the uCPE white Box platform for secure SD-WAN networks.
