The highly flexible FWA9500 network computing appliance supports Intel® Skylake-SP Xeon® processors for today's evolving network environments. The 2U rack system features the Intel® C624 chipset, supporting up to 512GB RDIMM memory in dual LGA3647 CPU sockets and 16x DDR4-2666 sockets. It can be equipped with two Intel® I210-AT Gigabit Ethernet controllers and 8x IBN (IBASE dedicated network interface) cards to accommodate a maximum of 66GbE ports with configurable NIC module slots.

The FWA9500 network appliance delivers solid levels of performance and reliability in enterprise-grade network security, firewall, VPN, UTM, WAN and network management applications, making it an ideal workhorse for enterprise workloads that need to manage large amounts of data.

The unit used a modular approach to design a network device with highly expandable and scalable functionality. This allows for rapid customization and integration by combining and combining modules to meet optimal customer requirements.

FWA9500 comes with I/O connectivity and Expansion slots such as PCIe x8 slot, M.2 (M key), Mini-PCIe, two USB 2.0 and a RJ45 serial console with LCM display for easy usage. LAN bypass and IBASE IDN100 IPMI 2.0 module are optional features.
