The FWA8708 is a 1U rackmount network appliance powered by 8th Generation Intel® Xeon®/Core™ processors that provides high scalability and performance for firewall, VPN, UTM, load balancing, and network security applications in SMB and large enterprise environments. The FWA8708 comes in two versions: FWA8708-C powered by Intel® C246 and FWA8708-H featuring Intel® H310 chipset.

FWA8708-C features four DDR4-2666 modules supporting up to 64GB system memory and 6x Intel® i210 and 2x i210S Ethernet controller with 8GbE Port and Optional IBN card (IBASE dedicated network interface card) for up to 8GbE memory.

The FWA8708 offers rich I/O connectivity and expansion. It provides two PCIe and Mini-PCIe slots for high-density PCIe loads, and one M.2 expansion slot for interfacing with SATA 3.0 and PCIe x4 bus for high data throughput. It is suitable for most network applications.
