To improve edge computing and IoT performance, AAEON has expanded its mini-ITX product line with the MIX-EHLD1, a mini-ITX thin motherboard powered by the Intel® Atom® x6413E/Celeron® J6412 processor (formerly Elkhart Lake).

Designed as leading processors for IoT optimization, these processors offer nearly 2x upgrades over their predecessors in single-thread, multi-thread, and graphics performance to accelerate real-world edge computing and IoT deployments.

Additionally, these IoT-centric processors are onboard with the Intel® Programmable Service Engine (PSE), an efficient offloading engine that can reduce the workload of CPU cores and enable industrial control functions in IoT applications.

For expansion, the MIX-EHLD1 provides two M.2 slots and a mini-card slot for wireless connectivity, storage or AI optimization modules. Since today's IoT applications require intense visual presentation, MIX-EHLD1 supports 3 display outputs.

Regarding connections with multiple peripheral devices, MIX-EHLD1 comes with two USB 3.2 Gen1 Ports and four USB 2.0 Ports.
